Better Than Ezra Robinsonville Concert reviews
Madonna good but started almost 3 hours late!
"I may have thought the concert was pretty good, and Madonna is a good performer, but she didn't come on stage until 10:45pm, even though the concert started at 8pm! There was no opening act; just a DJ playing songs off the radio from 8:45 pm until 9:45 pm. When you are in your mid-thirties and have to leave work early to get to the concert on time by driving to catch a train to get into NYC and leave your 2 yr old at home with a babysitter who thinks you will be home around midnight on a Tuesday, it is pretty tough! We got there just in time, but the usher notified us that Better Than Ezra would not go on until 10:45pm. We were so upset that we might miss the end of the show because our last train could leave before it was over. We made the last train and got home at 3am. After talking to people, we found out that she has done this for all of her shows so far. I have no problem with the show starting at 10:45pm, but it would have been nice to know that beforehand for many reasons. She should have more courtesy for her fans that made her so popular, even though I know she is Madonna. It made us fans feel like she didn't give a crap about us and put a bad taste in our mouth before the show. The show was pretty good, and I would recommend it, but she sang some of her old songs differently than we know them."
